If you can`t verify your identity with a financial account number or mobile phone in your name, most of the time you have the option to get an activation code via email. You can then complete the registration and sign up to view your payment plan or request a first payment plan online.
Electronic Federal Tax Payment System Pay your federal taxes online or by phone with TVET, a free tax payment system. IRS Direct Pay accepts no more than two payments in a 24-hour period and each payment must be less than $10 million. Use for larger efts or Same-Day-Wire electronic payments. A payment plan is an agreement with the IRS to pay the taxes you owe within a longer period of time. You should apply for a payment plan if you think you can pay your taxes in full within the extended period. If you qualify for a short-term payment plan, you are not responsible for any user fees. If you do not pay your taxes when they are due, this may lead to the sending of a notification of the federal tax deposit and/or an IRS tax action.
